How to make the Timeline more beautiful and fast with Restyle Timeline

Today we present a fantastic new extension that allows you to change the style of the timeline pages and profiles! It's called RestyleTimeline. This extension is destined to become famous as the extension that allows you to disable the timeline on the profile and view Pages as before!

This new extension, in our opinion, is one of the best to not only view the profiles and pages as before the timeline launch, but to also have the best features offered from timeline and to remove some the elements users haven't liked.

Once installed you are taken to a screen that prompts you to choose between two different styles of timeline: old style and new style. Let's go into greater detail the differences between the two.

Old Style

The old style shows the profiles as the previous design, keeping some of the useful features of the timeline.

For example, the cover image and the two columns typical of the timeline are removed, but left intact are the navigation menu at the top right of the timeline and the boxes for the applications. Profiles and pages are then displayed on a single column and return the applications to see wall, information or pictures (and friends on profiles) under the profile picture.

RestyleTimeline retains some of the useful functions. In our opinion the the useful functions of timeline are:highlighted post (with the orange tab) at the top and the ability to navigate into the past with the menu at the top right corner.

The old style is therefore recommended for those who can not stand the diary and wants profiles and pages as possible to resemble the old design.

New Style

The new style adds a few more features and is recommended for those who find the look uncomfortable with the two columns and but appreciate the cover image at the top ( cover ).

This style shows the stream of news on a column but leaves intact the other functions. It also keeps the view of the cover and the boxes below, and the timeline is much faster in terms of browsing speed.

How to choose between the two styles?

Immediately after installing the extension you will see the screen that allows you to choose between the two styles, select the one you want and click on the "X" in the upper right.

If in future you want to display the current look, or even if you want to disable this extension, and return the facebook to its original state, simply access the Facebook menu (top right) and select the "Settings RestyleTimeline".

Download the extension for your browser and you choose the style of your timeline!
